Job summary

The Inn Collection Group’s The Swan in Grasmere is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. You’ll clean guest rooms to a high standard, maintain public areas, and ensure supplies are stocked and ready for the next guest.

You’ll work calmly under pressure, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to a welcoming, comfortable stay for guests. Colleague accommodation is available to help you settle in.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality housekeeping preferred.
• High standard of cleanliness and organisation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms to high standards and ensure they are welcoming.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas to a consistent level.
• Promptly report maintenance issues and safety concerns.
• Manage stocks of linen, towels and room supplies.

A successful Housekeeper will be friendly and detail-oriented, able to remain calm under pressure and exceed guest expectations by responding promptly. As a key member of the Housekeeping team, you’ll work collaboratively, contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.

Your duties will include cleaning rooms to our high standards, ensuring public areas are clean and welcoming, and promptly reporting maintenance issues. You’ll follow safety guidelines, work to create memorable visits for our guests and manage your stocks of linen, towels, and room supplies effectively.
