Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Peaker Park Care Village in Market Harborough. You will help maintain a clean, safe home for residents with age-related health needs, disabilities and dementia, working as part of a caring team.

Full training is provided, prior experience is welcome but not essential. The role offers regular shift patterns across a 7-day week, DBS funding, generous holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme with up to £250 per successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Vacuuming and cleaning floors in all areas.
• Deep cleaning dining areas, bathrooms and toilets.
• Assist the Hotel Services team with additional cleaning tasks as required.
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation when needed.

Thisrole will be based at Peaker Park Care Village, in the heart of Market Harborough. The Care Village has been specially designed to cater tothe everyneed of 137 residents, living with a range of age related health conditions, physical disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. Additionally, many of our residents are living with Dementia and may also require one to one personal support to maintain their daily independence. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities.

What we’re looking for in our Housekeeper:

To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Though prior experience in a similar role is desirable, this is not essential as full training and induction is provided. Typically, our residents live with age related conditions, life-limiting health conditions and physical disabilities that require dignified support from our care team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s privacy.
