Job summary

Cumberland Council’s Cumbria Outdoors is seeking a Housekeeper to support three sites in Cumbria. The role covers planning and delivering cooking, catering and cleaning for visitors, while ensuring compliance with health, safety and hygiene rules.

The post is 30 hours a week with flexible scheduling, including weekends and public holidays. Applicants must pass an enhanced DBS check with the Children’s Barred List.

• Gather and act on customer feedback to improve service delivery.
• Work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe and clean environment for guests.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Coordinator.
