Job summary

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is seeking a Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare.

This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a permanent contract and a salary up to £24,947 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Flexible shift patterns apply to cover all sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Literacy and numeracy at sufficient level.
• Good communication skills.
• GCSE Maths and English A–C or equivalent.
• PC literacy with basic software experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public, and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments, including Theatre areas, and other sites.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead.
• Comply with mandatory training.

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
