Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join The Meriden Hospital in Coventry. This full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, is permanent and involves cleaning patient, public and staff areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

The successful candidate will be trained in Trust standards, be able to work flexibly across departments (including Theatre areas) and complete daily task sheets while upholding Circle Health Group values.

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Maths and English GCSEs A-C or equivalent.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC and hospital software.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Be flexible to work in all departments including Theatre areas.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead.
• Comply with mandatory training.

Salary: Up to £24,947.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is part of Circle Health Group , Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
