Housekeeper (Bank)

Harbour Hospital, Poole – part of Circle Health Group.

Bank shifts – work on an "as and when required" basis, supplement staffing, and cover absences.

Salary: Up to £12.80 per hour (depending on experience, training and qualification).

Overview

The Harbour Hospital in Poole is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

This role is a bank position within the Hotel Services department, joining a team of staff to support busy periods and provide cover for staff on annual leave or absence.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Undertake day‑to‑day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (including Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good communication skills.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems.
