Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Housekeeper (Bank) to join the Hotel Services team in Cheadle. This on‑call position supports busy periods and staff leave coverage across departments, including theatre areas.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean patient, public and staff areas, replenishing linen, and completing daily task sheets for auditing. GCSEs in Maths/English and PC proficiency are required.

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Proficiency in using a PC and standard software.

We have an opportunity for aHousekeeperto join their team of staff in theHotel Servicesdepartment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets andsubmitto the Housekeeper Leadon a daily basisfor auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
