Job summary

Bishops Wood Hospital in Middlesex, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to join their Hotel Services team on an as-and-when-required basis.

You will perform day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas, ensure a safe environment, replenish linen and consumables, and provide flexibility to work across sites as needed. Training and compliance are expected.

Qualifications

• Literate and numerate with basic PC skills.
• Maths and English GCSE at A-C or equivalent.
• Proficient in using a PC and common software.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe, pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Be flexible to work across all departments, including Theatre areas.
• Complete daily task sheets for auditing.
• Comply with mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Servicesdepartment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
