Job summary

Northcare Residences Stirling is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our friendly team. The role is part-time, 8am–4pm, across a 14-day cycle, with pay at £13.50 per hour.

You will help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents, visitors and staff, following infection prevention guidelines and ensuring high standards of cleanliness. We value compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with others.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, dependable, and compassionate approach.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Right to work in the UK – Northcare is unable to sponsor employment for international workers.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain residents' rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
• Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and storing clothing and linen.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues as required.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the home.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect, and kindness.

Hours: Part-time position, 7 shifts across a 14 day period, working 8am - 4pm
