Job summary

The Lifeboat Inn, part of St Austell Brewery, is seeking a proactive Housekeeper in St Ives. You will welcome guests warmly and ensure rooms and common areas are kept to high standards, contributing to a memorable stay by the harbour. Full training will be provided to those new to this role.

The role offers hands-on learning in a supportive team, flexible working where possible, and access to food, drink and overnight-stay discounts across our pubs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome to guests and help them feel at home during their stay.
• Keep guest rooms and public areas clean and tidy to a high standard.

Job description

The Lifeboat Inn lies at the heart of everything that makes St Ives magical. This traditional inn, complete with roaring log fire, faces the town’s picture-postcard harbour and nestles aptly beside its famous lifeboat house.

St Ives itself is a stunning location that boasts a collection of glorious beaches, with quaint streets and alleys dotted with art galleries, cafes, and shops.

We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our close-knit team. You’ll provide a warm welcome to guests, making them feel at home throughout their stay, while keeping our rooms looking spick and span. If you haven’t done this kind of work before, we’ll support you to learn.
