Job summary

Isle Court Care Home in Shrewsbury is looking for a friendly Housekeeper to join our home team. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, homely environment across bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and dining rooms to ensure residents, visitors and staff are welcomed and comfortable.

The role is 33 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, with a comprehensive induction, ongoing training and a supportive team. A caring, compassionate nature, good communication and the ability to work as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Housekeeper or Cleaner.
• Caring, and compassionate nature.
• The desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others.
• Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, homely environment for residents across bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and dining rooms.
• Ensure residents, visitors and staff experience a welcoming environment.
• Work as part of the care home team to uphold hygiene and safety standards.

Location: Isle Court Nursing Home, Isle Lane, Bicton, Shrewsbury, SY3 8LH

At Isle Court,Weare looking for a Housekeeper to join our friendly Nursing Home team.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and homely environment for our residents. Working in all areas of the home from bedrooms and bathrooms to lounges and dining rooms, the tasks you carry out will ensure everyone can enjoy a clean, tidy and welcoming environment. This means you’ll have a direct impact on our residents, their visitors and all the staff working to support them.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working as a Housekeeper or Cleaner
