Job summary

Places for People is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for Brio Retirement Living in Chapelton, Stonehaven. Working as part of our onsite Concierge Team, you will ensure all parts of our communities are well presented and maintained, delivering the first impression customers expect.

The role is 10 hours per week, split across five days, with either early or late shifts. We value enthusiasm, reliability and a commitment to safety; a basic DBS check is mandatory.

  • Excellent cleanliness standards and ability to spot mess.
  • Basic IT skills to complete daily tasks.
  • Good telephone manner and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning of designated communal areas and back-of-house.
  • Maintain cleanliness of apartment blocks and surroundings.
  • Support frontline reception and guest areas as needed.

Brio Retirement Living are a growing business building new retirement communities in desirable locations across the UK, our aim is to improve the quality and experience of later life and we are looking for individuals who share that passion to join our expanding team at Chapelton, Stonehaven, AB39 3PH.

Working as part of our onsite Concierge Team, the Housekeeping Assistant will play a vital part in ensuring all parts of our communities are well presented and maintained throughout. Providing the best first impression, that continues throughout the customer experience. As a Housekeeper for Brio your role will be varied but on the whole you will undertake general cleaning (sweeping/mopping/dusting/vacuuming) of designated communal areas, back of house and apartment blocks, ensuring they remain clean and tidy at all times.

Please note this role is for 10 hours per week - 5 days a week 2 hours a day. either 7-9am or 5-7pm. At Places for People, we are committed to a safe working environment so a basic DBS check is mandatory.

More About You

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic applicants who have a proven track record of offering the highest levels of customer service. You will have exemplary levels of cleanliness and be able to ‘spot mess' that others can't.

You will have an awareness of Health and Safety, COSHH regulations, safe working practices & chemical materials.

Its important that you have basic IT skills in order to carry out your day-to-day role successfully, as well as having a good telephone manner with a keen eye for detail, ensuring the job is done correctly.
