Job summary

St Austell Brewery’s Ship Inn in Mousehole is hiring a part-time front-of-house team member. You’ll join a friendly, fast-paced environment by the water, serving guests, taking orders, and creating memorable visits for locals and visitors alike.

We value a warm, guest-focused approach and teamwork. This role offers flexibility, opportunities for progression, and a supportive team in a coastal village setting.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; friendly, guest-focused approach preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or retail is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders at the bar or waiting area.
• Provide friendly, memorable experiences to every visitor.
• Keep front of house areas clean, tidy and well stocked during shifts.

The Ship Inn bustles with life in the summer, transforming to a romantic and cosy snug in the winter. Oozing character and charm, this traditional seaside inn occupies an enviable position right on the water’s edge, overlooking Mousehole’s famous harbour.

You’ll be working in one of West Cornwall’s most beautiful destinations, with a wealth of golden beaches, dramatic coastal walks, and popular attractions on the doorstep.
