Job summary

Potters Resorts Five Lakes in Maldon, Essex, is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Team Member to help prepare guest accommodation to the highest standard. The role runs daytime hours (9am–3pm), 30 hours per week, with five days out of seven and rotated weekends.

No previous experience is required as full training is provided. You’ll join a friendly team, enjoy free meals on shift, gym access, employee discounts and development opportunities through Potters Academy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and refresh guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard.

• Report maintenance issues or damaged items.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to complete rooms efficiently.

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a supportive team. Previous housekeeping experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Hours and location

• 30 hours per week
• 9am–3pm
• Working five days out of seven
• Rotational weekend and bank holiday working

Please note that, due to our rural location and lack of public transport, you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you’ll help ensure our guest accommodation is beautifully prepared and ready to welcome each new arrival. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and refreshing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
• Making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising surfaces
• Replenishing towels, toiletries and other guest amenities
• Responding politely and helpfully to guest requests

Pay: £10.85 - £12.71 per hour (depending on age)
