Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaner for a 6 month fixed-term contract at our Macclesfield site. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with shifts Mon-Thu 12pm-8pm and Fri 11am-7pm.

You will work in a clean room environment, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety, supported by on-site facilities and meal options. You’ll receive on-the-job training, full PPE, and opportunities for career growth within Sodexo, a global leader in facilities services.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed on time to a high standard following SOPs.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing on shift (hair net, clean room requirements).
• Maintain cleanliness in break out areas, kitchens, toilets, showers and changing areas in a clean room environment.
• Complete and sign off worksheets in line with company procedure.
• Order consumables.
• Complete monthly stock takes.
• Champion health and safety practices, conduct regular safety checks and report hazards.
• Deliver excellent customer service, respond to queries professionally.
• Use of cleaning equipment, such as buffers.

What you'll do:

• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard following SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
