Job summary

The Rock Point in Lyme Regis is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure a warm, high‑standard guest experience across the inn and harbour-side rooms.

You will be a hands‑on, can‑do leader with outstanding communication and organisational skills, committed to spotless standards and a supportive, team‑oriented environment at this 18th‑century pub restored by St Austell Family Group.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to maintain high guest room standards.
• Co-ordinate cleaning schedules and supplies to ensure efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Head up the housekeeping team and mentor staff.
• Ensure a fantastic home away from home experience for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of rooms and public areas.

The Rock Point is a wonderfully scenic inn that lies on Lyme Regis harbour, overlooking the surrounding bay and Jurassic coastline.
You’ll be working in an 18th-century tavern that has been thoughtfully updated by St Austell Family Group to showcase character features that are stylishly adorned with mod cons. The Rock Point occupies a tranquil location at the heart of what many consider to be ‘The Pearl of Dorset’.

We’re looking for a Head Housekeeper to join our hard working but close-knit team. You’ll head up the housekeeping team, ensuring a fantastic home away from home experience for all our guests. You will be a hands‑on, can do, leader, combining your natural ability to communicate with your outstanding organisational skills.
