Job summary

Glebe Farm Nursery School in Lincoln is seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Cleaner to uphold high cleanliness standards across the nursery environment. This role runs Monday to Friday, 5pm–7pm for 10 hours per week, at £12.71 per hour, with a performance-related bonus and a 50% childcare discount as part of the benefits package.

You will work with a caring team within the Storal group, contributing to safe, welcoming spaces for children and collaborating with educators to maintain smooth daily

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or cleaning position.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.
• Understanding of safeguarding and site security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the nursery.
• Follow cleaning schedule and manage cleaning materials per health and safety guidelines.

What you'll be doing

As a Housekeeper/Cleaner, you will maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery setting. Following the cleaning schedule, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, safe and well cared for. Your role will involve managing cleaning materials and supplies, in line with health and safety guidelines, following the latest child protection and health and safety legislation.

You will work closely with the educator team to ensure any issues impacting daily operations are reported and dealt with quickly, effectively and safely.

• Experience in a similar role

• An excellent understanding of basic hygiene and cleanliness
