The Great Decoy in Hurstbourne Tarrant is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to maintain spotless guest rooms and public areas, delivering warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere for every visitor. You’ll take pride in creating clean, comfortable spaces that help guests feel at home from the moment they arrive.

As part of Chickpea Group’s hospitality team, you’ll work with a friendly crew, follow high standards, and coordinate with colleagues to keep the venue running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a housekeeping role is preferable.
• Pride in getting things spot on.
• Positive, reliable, and ready to get stuck in.
• Natural team player with great energy.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning guests' rooms to the highest standard.
• Cleaning and tidying communal areas of the business including customer bathrooms.
• Welcoming guests with warmth, energy, and a big smile.
• Delivering exceptional hospitality from start to finish.
• Handling guest requests like a pro.

Housekeeper – The Great Decoy, Hurstbourne Tarrant

The Great Decoy is our newest opening and first pub in Hampshire. The name comes from WWII. Local people came together to build a network of decoy installations — fake runways, dummy lights — to mislead enemy aircraft. Ordinary people doing something extraordinary, collectively. We thought that was worth remembering.

We’re on the hunt for a reliable and detail orientated Housekeeper.

If you take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and want to be part of a hospitality team that truly cares about guest experience, this is a fantastic opportunity. As a Housekeeper for Chickpea Group, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standard, helping guests feel comfortable and at home while working as part of a supportive and friendly team.
