Job summary

CYGNET is seeking a confident Housekeeper at Gledholt Mews and Coach House in Huddersfield. You’ll work full time (35 hours per week) across 7-hour shifts, including alternative weekends, to provide a clean, safe environment for adults with mental health needs.

DBS check required; COSHH knowledge desirable. Role focuses on daily cleaning, stock replenishment, and maintaining equipment to high standards while following health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic work (desirable).
• Knowledge of COSHH (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide a cleaning and general housekeeping service.
• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
• Replenish stock & ensure equipment is clean & well maintained.
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures.
