Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Harrogate is looking for an outstanding Housekeeper to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff. Youll work 20 hours a week at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate, performing daily and weekly cleaning tasks and replenishing stock to support high standards of care.

Experience in cleaning or domestic work is desirable; COSHH knowledge is a plus. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic work is desirable.
• Knowledge of COSHH is desirable.
• Friendly, conscientious and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
• Maintain & replenish stock and ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained.
• Employ safe working practices & adhere to health & safety procedures.
• Comply with COSHH regulations.

This is a long-established mental health hospital that provides an emergency admissions service across two acute wards. Your day-to-day

• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
• Maintain & replenish stock and ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained
• Employ safe working practices & adhere to health & safety procedures
• Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Hea lth (COSHH) regulations
