Job summary

Northcare Residences Glasgow in Clarkston is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join a friendly team. The role involves keeping residents' rooms and shared areas clean, tidy, and welcoming, while supporting a safe, hygienic environment for residents and staff.

Both full-time and part-time hours are available, with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. The successful candidate will work to high standards of cleanliness and demonstrate a caring, respectful approach to residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK – please note Northcare is unable to sponsor employment of international workers

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain residents' rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
• Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and storing clothing and linen.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues as required.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the home.
• Treat residents with dignity, respect, and kindness.
