Job summary

Northcare is seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to join Northcare Residences Glasgow. Competitive hourly pay (£13.45) and full-time rota opportunities across days and nights are offered in a permanent role at our Glasgow location.

Evidence of right to work in the UK is required. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, support residents with meals, and promote dignity and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient approach to residents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and professional in a fast-paced care environment.
• Previous care experience is preferred but training will be provided.

Job Description - Health Care Assistant
Location: Northcare Residences Glasgow, Clarkston
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Full-time rotas available - 7 shifts across 2 week period. Dayshift and Nightshift
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in Northcare Residences. At Northcare, you are more than a care worker. About the Role

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and support to residents
• Assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Promoting residents' independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Assisting residents with daily activities and social engagement
• Working closely with senior carers and healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately

• Previous care experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
