Job summary

Badby Park, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service, is recruiting a Housekeeper for on-site cleaning across wards, offices, bedrooms and visitor areas. You will work with the maintenance team to maintain high cleanliness standards and support a safe, welcoming environment for service users and staff.

Applicants should have previous cleaning experience in a similar environment and be prepared to undergo a DBS check.

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment.
• DBS disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Clean wards, offices, bedrooms and visitor areas across the service
• Work with the maintenance team to keep all areas spotless
• Maintain security standards under relevant policies and procedures
• Act as an active team member with day-to-day responsibility
• Answer telephones professionally and greet visitors
• Build good working relationships with staff, visitors and service users
• Help create a positive culture
• Carry out other appropriate tasks as requested
• Complete mandatory and statutory training annually

Job description

Housekeeper post at Badby Park, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service run by Elysium Healthcare. The work is cleaning wards, offices, bedrooms and visitor areas, in step with the maintenance team to keep the service to a high standard. The service supports people with neurological illnesses and acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, housed in a manor house with countryside grounds. Prior cleaning experience is required and successful applicants will need a DBS check.
