Elysium Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join Gregory House in Workington. You will help keep wards, offices, bedrooms and visitor areas clean to a high standard.

Working 30 hours per week, you will be trained and supported as part of a devoted housekeeping team serving adults with learning disability and mental health needs. The role values prior cleaning experience, attention to detail and good communication, with a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Gregory Houseas a Housekeeper.

Working 30 hours per week, you will be an integral part of the housekeeping team at a service for adults with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs, where you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area.

Working closely with the maintenance team you'll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.

You'll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better.There's also a huge range of courses on offer to help grow and develop your career. As a Housekeeper you will be:

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital
• An active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users
• Helping create a positive culture
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment

Where you will be working:

Location: Furness Road, Workington, Cumbria, CA14 3PD

You will be working at Gregory House, a Learning Disability and Autism service, providing care and support to 22 adults who have a Learning Disability and/or Mental Health needs.
You will work alongside the team helping to provide a specialist provision. The service has an enhanced level of support to allow people with continuing challenging behaviour and high support needs to be cared for in the least restrictive setting possible, but within a service which is robust and structured enough to meet their ongoing needs and risks.
