Forest Holidays Limited in the Forest of Dean (Coleford, Gloucestershire) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to tidy cabins and ensure top cleanliness.

Work two days a week, Monday and Friday, 9:30am–4:00pm, 12 hours total. You’ll join a small team, take pride in the Forest Feeling, and follow brand standards to welcome guests.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to deliver on brand standards.
• Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Great attention to detail to meet high cleanliness standards.
• Some previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare multiple cabins per shift to the highest standard.
• Ensure cabins are spotless and welcoming for arriving guests.

Salary:£12.71 per hour

Working Hours:Part-time, 12 hours.

Days of Work:Monday and Friday, 9:30am until 4:00pm.

About the Housekeeper Role:

Open all year round, our Housekeepers work in small teams, cleaning multiple cabins per shift. Passionate about the little details, you understand the importance of exceptional cleanliness, it’s what keeps our guests coming back time and time again.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and preparing multiple cabins per shift to the highest standard.
• Ensuring all cabins are spotless and welcoming for arriving guests.
• Taking pride in your work and attention to detail at all times.
• Following brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

Our ideal Housekeeper will be enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to deliver on our exceptional brand standards. You’ll be a team player with a keen eye for detail, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues and meeting set timescales.

We’re looking for someone with:

• A positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met
• Some previous experience in a similar role
• A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather

Pay Rates for Aged 16 and 17:

16 years:£8.00 per hour

17 years:£10.85 per hour
