Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Canterbury Campus to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for students and staff. The role is 30 hours per week with a pro-rata salary of £21,039 per annum (£25,949 FTE), and involves Sunday to Thursday shifts from 17:00 to 23:00.

About The Role

Join EKC Group – Where Every Space Matters! East Kent Colleges Group is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to help keep our Canterbury College campus spotless and welcoming. This role is for 30 hours per week, with a pro-rata salary of £21,039 per annum (£25,949 FTE).

Shift Details: Sunday to Thursday 17:00 to 23:00

Your Role: Maintain the cleanliness of the college buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff. Prior experience working within health and safety guidelines is beneficial.

About You

We are seeking to appoint a positive, proactive, and efficient Housekeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including the use of machinery.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Preferred Experience & Skills:
