Job summary

The Dot Group in Birmingham is seeking a friendly and reliable House Keeper to join our residence team at Yugo Crown Place. The role focuses on cleaning communal areas and rooms to high standards, and preparing vacated rooms and kitchens between tenancies.

You will also uphold health and safety responsibilities and contribute to a safe, welcoming living environment for students. We offer a competitive salary and generous leave, plus perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role with priority on safety.
• Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
• Willingness to go the extra mile and support the team.

Responsibilities

• Keep communal areas and rooms clean and tidy and deep clean vacated rooms and kitchens between tenancies.
• Ensure high presentation standards for students living in the accommodation.
• Comply with health and safety duties and cooperate with the employer on safety matters.

We are one of the market leaders in student accommodation and we’re looking for a friendly and reliable House Keeper to join our residence team in our state-of-the art student accommodation in the heart of Birmingham.

You’ll be responsible for keeping communal areas and rooms clean and tidy and deep cleaning vacated rooms & kitchens where required between tenancies. Excellent attention to detail is needed to ensure everything is highly presentable and in tip top condition for the students that live with us.

Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters.

• Experience within a similar role where cleaning and safety is a priority
• Friendly and approachable
• Able to communicate effectively with people
• Responsive to any queries
• Willingness to go the extra mile
