Job summary

Sandwell Children's Trust is recruiting for a House Project Lead and Registered Service Manager to drive the House Project model and oversee an Ofsted-registered supported accommodation service in the West Midlands.

You will lead strategic development, work with young people and partners, and ensure high-quality, safe housing and support for care-experienced young people on their journey to independent living.

Qualifications

• Qualification in social work and direct experience with children and young people in social care, education or youth work.
• Experience with children in care living in residential homes or supported accommodation.
• Strong understanding of the Supported Accommodation Regulations.
• Experience working with other agencies and professionals (statutory and voluntary).
• Highly developed communication and influencing skills with young people.
• Understanding of social, emotional, safeguarding challenges facing care leavers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the House Project model with young people and partners.
• Ensure the Ofsted-registered supported accommodation service meets regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership and operational management of the service.
• Ensure safe, nurturing homes and positive outcomes for care-experienced young people.
