Dakota Hotel, based in Glasgow City Centre, is seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to join our Housekeeping Team as a Room Attendant.

CONTRACT AND PAY RATE

£12.25 per hour, paid weekly. The role offers a permanent contract of at least 24 hours per week, with typical shifts from 09:00 to 15:30, working any 4 days out of 7.

PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Thoroughly deep clean guest bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, make beds, and detail rooms to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, polishing, mopping, and lifting items like duvets.
• Note guest preferences and requests to personalize stays, e.g., providing firm pillows or setting up cots.
• Maintain knowledge of safe chemical handling and proper use of cleaning equipment like steamers.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including waste handling and manual handling.
