Crowne Plaza Marlow is a contemporary 4-star lakeside hotel seeking a reliable Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will maintain the highest cleanliness standards to ensure guests have a comfortable and welcoming stay.

The role involves servicing guest bedrooms and public areas, restocking supplies, and supporting a busy housekeeping team to prepare rooms quickly and safely.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, training will be provided.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Change bed linen and towels, replenish amenities, and restock supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitise guest rooms and public areas.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost property.
• Ensure housekeeping trolleys and storage areas are clean and stocked.
• Follow health and safety procedures with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to prepare rooms for arriving guests on time.

The hotel also features extensive meetings and events facilities for up to 450 delegates and is conveniently located near the M4, M40, and Heathrow, with easy access to Marlow, Windsor, and the Thames Valley area.

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the hotel's standards.
• Change bed linen and towels, replenish guest amenities, and restock supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitise guest rooms and public areas as required.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost property promptly.
• Ensure all housekeeping trolleys and storage areas are clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and efficiently.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests within required timescales.
