Crowne Plaza Marlow is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to support our busy hotel kitchen team. The hotel also features extensive meetings and events facilities for up to 450 delegates and is conveniently located near the M4, M40, and Heathrow, with easy access to Marlow, Windsor, and the Thames Valley area.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy hotel kitchen team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will provide essential support to our chefs by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency, helping us deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
Wash and clean crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Operate the dishwasher and ensure all items are cleaned and stored correctly.
Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required.
Keep kitchen areas, floors, storage areas, and equipment clean and organised.
Dispose of waste and recycling safely in accordance with hotel procedures.
Receive, store, and rotate deliveries following food safety guidelines.
Ensure cleaning supplies and kitchen areas are well stocked.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Follow all health and safety, food hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
Maintain a safe working environment by reporting hazards or equipment issues promptly.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
