Hotel Receptionist – 5* Boutique Hotel

Kings Cross

The Megaro Hotel, established in March 2007, is a 49-bedroom boutique hotel and part of the St Pancras Hotels group. It is renowned for its unique style, blending art, luxury, and exclusivity, and proudly hosts the world’s largest external hotel mural, acknowledged by international artists.

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our team. Experience in a 5* hotel is preferred but not essential. The role involves working on-site five days a week, managing reservations (check-in & check-out), handling calls and emails, and maintaining prompt communication with guests.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, well-presented, knowledgeable about 5-star service, and highly organized. The role reports directly to the Hotel Manager and requires excellent communication skills to ensure the team is well-informed.

The Hotel Receptionist will:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient guest arrivals, check-in, and check-out, providing the highest level of customer service
  • Be proficient with hotel management systems, updating guest records and understanding room rate management
  • Have extensive knowledge of the hotel’s services, standards, and products
  • Be financially and commercially astute
  • Be flexible with working hours and duties
  • Maintain accurate guest records with great attention to detail
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences
