Job summary

JW Lees is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join its team. You will meet and greet guests, manage bookings and check guests in and out, while handling queries and ensuring smooth front-desk operations in a busy hotel environment.

The role involves working with the reservation system, coordinating room allocations, and supporting restaurant reservations and guest services as needed. A strong hospitality mindset and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or frontline customer service preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage bookings and guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests and visitors to the Hotel.
• Handle face-to-face, online and telephone bookings.
• Check reservations and allocate rooms accurately.
• Assist guests with queries and requirements.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Prepare restaurant reservations as needed.
• Maintain occupancy levels on the computer system.
• Manage room rates and changes in the system.
• Address customer issues and service requests.
• Process cash and card payments.
• Ensure a safe work environment and report hazards.
