Residence Inn by Marriott London Kensington is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to perform timely maintenance across the hotel, ensuring standards are met and issues are resolved promptly.

You will handle both reactive and preventative maintenance, work with multiple hotel teams, and support audits while monitoring stock and utility readings. The role requires practical hands-on skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of plumbing, electrics and decorating are highly important.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulation.
• Ability to prioritise workload and maintain high standards of work.
• Able to work within a team and on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance-related work in the hotel timely and to group standards.
• Handle reactive and planned preventative maintenance and coordinate with hotel departments.
• Assist with audits and record benchmarking data and monitor stock levels.
