Job summary

The CURA Kensington, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott in London is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep the property safe, efficient and up to Marriott standards. You will work across all areas of the hotel, handling guest repair requests and preventative maintenance with a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical skills, and a reliable, flexible attitude to shifts, including weekends if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• At least 1 year in maintenance or facilities experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests promptly.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and facilities.
• Identify and operate shut-off valves and essential building systems.
• Support general repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and basic HVAC.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness across hotel areas.
