Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management Ltd's Wotton House in Surrey is seeking a practical, hands-on Maintenance Team Member to keep guest spaces, rooms and public areas in top condition. You’ll perform day-to-day repairs, respond quickly to issues, carry out routine checks and support building maintenance across the hotel, working with colleagues to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

Ideal applicants will have DIY or general maintenance skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on approach to maintenance work.
• Experience with general maintenance or DIY skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day repairs and general maintenance across the hotel.
• Respond to maintenance issues and resolve them quickly and efficiently.
• Complete routine checks and identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain guest bedrooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Work with other departments to keep hotel operations running smoothly.
• Support preventative maintenance and keep accurate records where required.
• Follow health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Develop skills with training and support from the team.
