Job summary

LGH Hotels Management is hiring a Maintenance Team Member for the Holiday Inn London - Regent's Park. You will perform hands-on maintenance across the hotel, tackling plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks to keep guest areas safe and comfortable.

You'll respond quickly to requests, support preventative maintenance, coordinate with the Maintenance Manager, maintain records of work and costs, and work as part of a friendly hotel team to uphold our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across the hotel, including basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, resolving issues efficiently and calmly.
• Assist with routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment, spotting issues early and helping prevent disruption.
• Support the delivery of preventative maintenance programmes that keep everything working as it should.
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety guidelines and procedures.
• Take pride in maintaining clean, tidy, and safe working areas at all times.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and wider hotel team, supporting tasks and projects as required.
• Assist with coordinating contractors and suppliers, helping ensure work is completed to a good standard and within agreed timescales.
• Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and any relevant costs.
• Communicate clearly about issues identified, actions taken, and follow-up required.
• Enjoys hands-on, practical work and fixing problems
• Takes pride in keeping spaces safe, functional, and well cared for
• Is reliable, organised, and motivated to do a good job
• Feels satisfied when others can relax and work comfortably because of their efforts
• Works well as part of a team and is happy to support where needed
• Wants to build experience and develop skills within a hotel environment
• You may already be working in maintenance-or you could be someone with strong practical skills looking to apply them in a busy, supportive hospitality setting.
