Job summary

The Edwardian Manchester Hotel, a Radisson Collection property, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our city centre hotel running smoothly. You will carry out basic maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, and carpentry areas to ensure guest comfort and safety.

This role requires hands-on experience in hotel maintenance, a good grasp of health and safety, and the ability to work with other teams.

Qualifications

• You must possess current hotel maintenance experience.
• Be fully aware of Health and safety procedures.
• Understand the requirements for effective water management.
• Have knowledge of Environmental EHO acknowledgment.
• Able to perform electrical, plumbing, decoration and carpentry tasks.
• Understands basic housekeeping processes and procedures.
• Works well with others and understands the value of teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel on a daily basis to ensure its effective running.
• Coordinate and prioritise repair-maintenance orders and planned maintenance orders.
• Check all work you have completed before signing it off as complete.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and safety standards as legally required.
