Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough is seeking an Engineering Assistant to help keep the hotel looking its best and running smoothly. You'll handle painting, plumbing and general maintenance, tackling small jobs quickly and safely, with pride in your workmanship.

This full-time, 40-hour week role offers variety and the chance to work as part of a supportive team that values practical problem-solving, teamwork and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Some experience in general maintenance, painting and/or plumbing.
• A practical person who enjoys getting stuck in.
• Good problem-solving skills and a “let’s get it sorted” attitude.
• Someone who takes pride in their work.
• A team player who understands that in a hotel, the little things make a big difference.

Responsibilities

• Touching up paintwork or fixing a leaky tap.
• Help with general maintenance tasks.
• Ensure guest areas, bedrooms and facilities are well maintained.
• Help ensure guests have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay.
• 40 hours a week, full-time, with plenty of variety.
