Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough is seeking an Engineering Assistant to support painting, plumbing and general maintenance across the hotel. You’ll help keep guest areas and facilities in top condition and ensure a smooth running operation for a safe, comfortable stay.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, onsite, with a practical, can-do attitude and a focus on attention to detail. Join a team that values reliability and pride in workmanship.

Qualifications

• Some experience in general maintenance, painting and/or plumbing.
• A practical person who enjoys getting stuck in.

Responsibilities

• Touch up paintwork and carry out minor painting tasks.
• Fix leaks, taps and general maintenance issues as they arise.
• Assist with upkeep of guest areas, bedrooms and facilities.
• Contribute to a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests.

If you’ve got a practical, can-do attitude and a bit of experience in painting, plumbing and general maintenance, we’d love to hear from you!

As our Engineering Assistant, you’ll help keep our hotel looking its best and running smoothly. From fixing those little jobs that just can’t wait, to keeping guest areas, bedrooms and facilities in tip-top condition, you’ll be an important part of the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Some experience in general maintenance, painting and/or plumbing

What You’ll Be Doing

One day you might be touching up some paintwork, the next you could be fixing a leaky tap or helping with a general maintenance job. No two days are quite the same!

Most importantly, you’ll help make sure our guests have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay.
