Job summary

The Royal Horseguards is a prestigious 5-star hotel overlooking the River Thames near The Embankment and Trafalgar Square. As Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll oversee hands-on maintenance across guest rooms and plant rooms, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and to the highest standards.

You’ll guide the team in planned and reactive maintenance, drive safety and quality, and support cost control and supplier management to maintain a superb guest experience at One Whitehall Place.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Manager in delivering a proactive maintenance program across the hotel.
• Lead and motivate the maintenance team to ensure work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
• Respond swiftly to maintenance requests, minimizing disruption to guest experiences.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet health, safety, and legal standards.
• Assist with cost control and supplier management to maintain a well-functioning department.
