Job summary

The Royal Horseguards is a prestigious 5-star hotel overlooking the River Thames near The Embankment and Trafalgar Square. As Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll oversee hands-on maintenance across guest rooms and plant rooms, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and to the highest standards.

You’ll guide the team in planned and reactive maintenance, drive safety and quality, and support cost control and supplier management to maintain a superb guest experience at One Whitehall Place.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet health, safety, and legal standards.
• Assist with cost control and supplier management to maintain a well-functioning department.

Salary: £16.91 per hour

The Royal Horseguards is a beautiful 5 star hotel overlooking the River Thames, close to The Embankment and Trafalgar Square. The hotel has 282 bedrooms, restaurant, bar and terrace area as well as exceptional banqueting facilities at one of London's most prestigious conference and banqueting venues, One Whitehall Place.

What you’ll be doing

As Maintenance Team Leader, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining the smooth operation of our beautiful hotel. From the guest rooms to the plant room, and everything in between, you’ll ensure the hotel is always running at its best.

You’ll lead by example, inspiring your team to carry out planned and reactive maintenance with precision and pride. Whether it’s fixing a small issue or supporting larger projects, your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to creating a seamless and extraordinary guest experience.
