Job summary

Crimson Hotels Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager for DoubleTree by Hilton London – Victoria to keep the hotel running safely and efficiently, leading the maintenance team to uphold high standards of building, equipment and facilities. You'll oversee planned and reactive maintenance, manage budgets and contractors, and work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, engineering or facilities, ideally within hospitality.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, heating and ventilation systems.
• Experience with planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Understanding of health and safety, COSHH and statutory compliance.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the maintenance team, including rostering, training and performance.
• Oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ensure issues resolved promptly.
• Keep hotel areas, plant, equipment and facilities safe and in good working order.
• Provide hands-on technical support across electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and general building maintenance.
• Manage contractors, servicing, inspections and statutory compliance.
• Champion health and safety, fire safety and environmental standards.
• Manage maintenance budgets, expenditure, stock and resources.
• Support CAPEX projects and identify efficiency/cost-reduction opportunities.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and provide out-of-hours support.
• Work closely with other departments to minimize disruption and guest experience.
