Job summary

Lancaster Gate Hotel is seeking a technical all-rounder to keep repairs, paintwork, fire protection and safety running smoothly behind the scenes. You will tour the premises daily, identify defects, and perform repair work to ensure seamless operation of hotel facilities.

Qualifications

Completed a technical apprenticeship and/or have professional trades/building maintenance experience
Be open and communicative, pay attention to detail and be interested in technology
Flexible and creative with a strong sense of quality under pressure
Team player willing to assist across departments

Responsibilities

Undertaking a tour of the premises every day to identify defects and carry out repair/renovation work
Monitor the seamless functionality of equipment, lifts and technical facilities in the hotel
Ensure outdoor areas are cleaned and maintained
Communicate, liaise and cooperate with external companies, especially checking maintenance work
Gain interdepartmental insights by working in multicultural teams
