Job summary

Premier Inn Newport is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals as part of a hotel team. The role covers breakfast and dinner service, with an emphasis on teamwork, efficiency and delivering quality meals to guests.

You’ll prepare ingredients, cook meals, receive deliveries and keep the kitchen clean and well-organised. This is a permanent, part-time role with guaranteed hours and a supportive onboarding process.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; applicants from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service roles are welcome.
• If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.
• What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right
