Premier Inn in Berwick-upon-Tweed is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and serve meals as part of guest stays. This role is 18 hours per week with a fixed-term contract and pay up to £13.06 per hour.

You’ll work evenings, weekends and busy periods, joining a supportive team and developing kitchen skills while contributing to a great guest experience. This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; candidates from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service roles are welcome.
• Willingness to learn and be taught the rest.
• Reliable and team‑oriented with a willingness to roll sleeves up during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
