Job summary

Premier Inn Bangor is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen day to day, manage rotas, place food orders, and lead the team through busy services. You’ll work closely with the Hotel Manager to take ownership of the kitchen and ensure quality, hygiene and cost control.

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone ready to build skills toward Head Chef as you grow within the Whitbread hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and managing rotas.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering and stock control, and keep food costs on track.
• Lead during service, organize the team and manage workflow.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu items to spec, from breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records kept up to date.
• Step up to run shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management as you grow toward more senior roles.

Kitchen Team Leader – Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales) Premier Inn

Join our team at Premier Inn Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales) as a Kitchen Team Leader and move your Chef career forward. You’ll run the kitchen day to day – managing rotas, placing food orders, leading the team through busy services, and keeping everything audit-ready. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene. It’s a hands‑on leadership role that’s perfect for anyone ready to build the skills to become a Head Chef.

PAY RATE:

Up to £14.31 per hour

HOURS:

30 hours per week
