Job summary

Premier Inn Salisbury South Milford is seeking a Kitchen Team Leader to run the kitchen day to day, manage rotas, place orders and lead the team through busy services. You’ll work closely with the Hotel Manager and take ownership of food quality and hygiene to support a strong kitchen operation.

This hands-on leadership role offers a clear path toward Head Chef, with training, development and a real career path in the UK’s leading hospitality business, Whitbread.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen leadership and team supervision.
• Ability to manage rotas and food orders.
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering and stock control for the hotel kitchen.
• Lead during service, organise the team and manage workflow.
• Prepare, cook and serve menu items to spec, from breakfasts to pub classics.
• Ensure kitchen meets health, safety and hygiene standards and keep records updated.
• Step up during shifts and onboard new team members.

We're currently recruiting in our Salisbury South Milford Premier Inn . Working 30 hours per week, paying up to £14.31 per hour.

Join our team at Premier Inn Salisbury South Milford as a Kitchen Team Leader and move your Chef career forward. You’ll run the kitchen day to day – managing rotas, placing food orders, leading the team through busy services, and keeping everything audit-ready. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene. It’s a hands‑on leadership role that’s perfect for anyone ready to build the skills to become a Head Chef.

Up to £14.31 per hour
