Job summary

University Arms invites applications for a Front of House Team Member. In this role you will warmly welcome guests, take orders, and deliver service that reflects the hotel's standard of hospitality. You will work with the Parker’s Tavern team to ensure memorable dining experiences across restaurant and bar spaces.

You should be passionate about people, excel in communication, and remain calm in a fast-paced hotel setting. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive and personalised service to every guest.
• Welcome guests warmly and create a strong first impression.
• Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients and recommendations.
• Take orders with accuracy, noting dietary requirements.
• Serve food and beverages with proper etiquette.
• Maintain knowledge of menu, wine and other beverages.
• Prepare and present tables to hotel standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for seamless service.
• Support events and VIP experiences when required.
