Compass Group UK is seeking a Financial Controller for the Edgbaston Hotel in Birmingham. The role leads financial governance, planning and reporting to enable profitable growth and robust financial controls.

You will partner with hotel leadership, deliver insightful financial analysis, and drive continuous improvement across financial processes. A strong accounting qualification and hospitality experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Strong commercial and financial analysis with ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and governance for the hotel Finance function.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reporting to drive business performance.
• Analyse results, KPIs and trends and present recommendations to management.
• Support capital investment appraisal and business cases.
• Partner with hotel leadership to improve profitability and ROI.
